This is an English translation of our German-language Datenschutzerklärung, provided for convenience. The German version is the legally authoritative text.

2. Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- request information about the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- request deletion of your data, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this (Art. 17 GDPR),
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- receive your data in a common, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing of your data where it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR), and
- lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA).
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated through a hosting provider with servers located in Germany.
When you access this website, the web server automatically collects and stores technical access data in so-called server log files, transmitted automatically by your browser. This includes:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- page/file accessed
- amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (the page visited beforehand)
- browser and operating system used
This data is used exclusively to ensure the technically error-free and secure operation of the website (e.g. to detect misuse or attacks) and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the stable and secure operation of the website, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by phone or email, we process the personal data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of your message) solely to process and respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to entering into a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
This website does not contain a contact form; data is transmitted to us only if you actively contact us by phone or email yourself. Your data is deleted once it is no longer needed to process your inquiry, or at the latest once statutory retention periods (e.g. under German commercial or tax law) have expired.
5. Cookies and analytics tools
This website currently uses no cookies and no analytics, tracking, or advertising tools (e.g. no Google Analytics). No profiling takes place and no data is shared for marketing purposes.
6. Local storage of your language preference
If you explicitly select German or English using the language switcher in the menu, your browser stores this choice locally on your device (in what is known as local storage), so the website automatically shows your chosen language on your next visit. This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
Since this storage is technically necessary to provide the feature you explicitly requested (remembering your language choice), no consent is required, pursuant to § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (the German Telecommunications-Digital-Services-Data-Protection Act). You can delete this storage at any time via your browser settings.
7. Third-party content
This website does not currently embed any third-party content (e.g. maps, videos, fonts, or social media plugins) that would establish a connection to external servers. All fonts and graphics are served from our own server.
8. Changes to this privacy policy
We will update this privacy policy whenever changes to the website or the underlying legal requirements make this necessary.
